Absolutely cannot beat the location and the views. Second time staying here and will definitely be returning. We love everything about it. Location, clean, quite, pool & hot tub were great, the patio overlooking that beautiful beach & water over coffee in the mornings and a cocktail in the evening cannot be beat.

great stay as usual

When we arrived we noticed the coffee pot we usually use was missing the carafe. I called the office and when we returned from our dinner, we were pleased to see a new coffee pot . It was also a nice surprise to see some new pots and pans. It was great to have them. We spent this past winter in 414 also. We left a recommendation to look at the couch as it was well worn. To our surprise and delight there was a new couch when we arrived this fall. Thanks for taking our comments into consideration! We are looking forward to seeing you again in January!

perfect location!

The views of the beach were incredible. It was very nice that each unit came with the beach chairs and umbrella. We really had no reason to leave except to go to the pool or beach. It was beautifully decorated and clean. I would definitely book here for a future vacation!

Condo was very roomy very open everyone had plenty of room kitchen a little small but it was okay for Grandma to be cooking bathrooms were excellent beds were a little bit too high for someone at with medical problem, but overall I say the place was excellent our vacation was GREAT.

The only negative comments would that be any more than four (4) people would be pretty tight, despite the advertised capacity of 7; there is too much furniture on the balcony, making it quite crowded; and the front/entry door and casing needs to be replaced as it is rather beaten up. With that said, the condo/apartment has an excellent location: the grounds were very well maintained; parking (underground) was fantastic; the pool is very clean and gigantic; the A/C worked phenomenally (outdoor temps near 100 all week); the condo/apartment was very clean, on arrival; the beds were very comfortable; all appliances were “newer” and worked as expected; there were ample cups, plates, and utensils; and we were supplied with two rolls each of paper towels and toilet paper (in each bathroom). All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay in 414E, and would recommend it to others.

We've stayed a number of times in this unit, and this was another great experience. Everything was neat and clean. Unit stayed nice and cool, though the days were hot. All appliances worked well. The only quibble was that the clothes drier was a bit slow to dry things. Better connections to Netflix, etc. on the big main TV would be nice as well. All that being said, we highly recommend this unit!

The Office Staff at Newman Dailey are WONDERFUL!!! I've worked with Kerbi for several years---she's made my DREAMS come TRUE. She's kind, understanding, and very patient. Lacey at the front desk was also very helpful. When my Grandson and I arrived and came into the office --- I felt like I was working with FAMILY. They truly care about your total experience. People like this ---is what makes companies GREAT!!! I hope that they are rewarded for their exceptional customer service skills and abilities!!! The only concern of mine was that our condo was not clean. The floors were extremely DIRTY!!! your feet would be BLACK from walking bare footed. There was Cheeto balls on the floor under the ottoman and garbage between the lamp and couch from the previous renters. I had to work on the ice maker everyday---it would not dispense ice. Having ice is a necessity. The Condo and property is very nice just room for a few improvements on the cleaning aspect. Sincerely, Patti

noisy condo.

The Condo was very nice and well supplied,with great view. Only complaints are. 1- bed in master was to hard for my liking. Like sleeping on floor. 2. I understand remodeling but could it not be done in off season. Was woke up EVERY MORNING for 6 days in a role at 7 am. With hammering and electric saws. Above and to the left side of the condo. Also when the sawing the backer board on the outside balcony all the dust was coming to our balcony so it was hard to enjoy the balcony early morning. Only in the evening. J Carter.

a perfect condo for a family.

This was a perfect condo for a family. Easy access to the beach, great pool and everything in the complex is very well maintained. We stayed during Spring Break and the Mediterranea was great for our younger kiddos as it never felt Spring “Breaky” :) Unit 414E was really nice, well maintained and has a wonderful view for morning and evening views of the Gulf. Property management firm was excellent at communicating every detail and the mobile app was super helpful. We’ll be back!

recent stay

We enjoyed our stay in Mediterranea 414E. It was well furnished including the kitchen. Loved that there were beach chairs and a couple toys for the waves. Also, the beach chair rental included was a bonus we enjoyed! My only negative is that at 7:30 am on our departure day, the front door was opened and made service rolled in a cart with linens for them to use when cleaning up the condo. Not only was it disruptive, it was in the way when we were trying to vacate the condo. Overall a great spot and we would rent it, again.

We had issues entering the workout facility- Newman Dailey quickly resolved the issue by having maintenance deliver a new key as the room had been re-keyed . Wonderful company to work with . great condo, best location!

We loved our stay at Mediterranea! It's our 4th visit to this location- different units each time. The condo was spotless, measured up to the description and photos. We love Destin and we absolutely love this location!! Newman-Dailey were great to work with! Only negative is the code for gate to/from property, tennis court. Once again we had the incorrect code but thankful one of the guests were coming as we were going and kindly shared correct one. We will be back!

the best condo ever

Mediterranea 414E is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed with lots of extras. The unobstructed gulf views/sunsets are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about this condo. The staff at Newman-Dailey excel in customer service. After staying in Mediterranea (and especially 414E), I would not consider any other rental units on Scenic Gulf Drive.

love this place!

We really loved staying in 414E......as a matter of fact, I wish I could live here! Located right across the street from the beach it had spectacular views! Plus its so clean and nicely decorated, you just feel like smiling the minute you walk through the door! Mediterranea is a great complex with a fantastic pool area and its close to shopping, and restaurants. I really didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back. well decorated and furnished

This unit has it all. It has obviously been recently updated and the quality is apparent. The kitchen is very well stocked. My only suggestion, if you are an active cook then you should bring your own chef knives. I've been doing this for years. As expected with any commercial condo property, the chef knives are dangerously dull. You will be pleased with the comforts of this unit. It is a next to the end unit facing west. The 3 balconies are a plus. Beach chairs/umbrella set are included in the rent.

Bien qu'en plein centre ville, nous avons eu -l'agréable- surprise d'entendre le chant du coq le matin, un poulailler se trouvant dans la cour de l'appartement du 1er. L'accueil d'Ana a été formidable et surtout, en français. Elle nous a fourni quantité de recommandations pour visiter la ville. L'appartement est très propre et fonctionnel, idéal pour une famille avec 2, voire 3 enfants. Il y a un restaurant traditionnel juste en bas de l'appartement, ce qui a été bien pratique à notre arrivée vers 20h30. En bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour! Josée

This rental company was so easy to deal with. The home itself was one of, if not the nicest, we've ever stayed in. Extremely comfortable and has all the amenities you can think of! yearly vacation

For the last few years we have stayed in this condo. Everything about this rental is nice and it seems like the owner is continuously upgrading it. The only issue we had with the condo was cleanliness. The dishes were dirty, dust on top of fridge, and dust between blinds and windows. The company we rent from was notified. We will rent this condo again next year. Exellent location.

wonderful unit in mediterrea

This is a beautiful unit. Great furnishings, TVs and DVD players. I highly recommend it with one qualification. This year we were unable to park in the parking garage because the owner decided to leave a car in the spot for that unit. This was the first time this had happened in any unit we've stayed at in Mediterranea and was a signficant disappointment. So if that amenity is important to you, you might want to consider getting an assurance that the garage spot will be available or staying at another unit. The best things I liked were the furnishings and the nice TV sets and Blu-ray players. The only downer was the loss of the parking spot. It would have been a more signficant loss when the weather was hotter.

beautiful condo - very relaxing stay

This is our third time staying in this unit and it is always perfect. The beach view is wonderful and the pool (when you're tired of the beach)is the best of any complex that we have seen. The only down side to this stay was parking. In the past we have always had an assigned parking place in the garage. On this trip there was a vehicle parked in this unit's spot. We called the office and was told there is no assigned parking (strange, always has been in the past) and they would look into it. We finally figured out that it probably was the unit owners vehicle parked in there but, no one from Newman Dailey ever called us back. While it didn't deter from our stay, it would have been nice to have been advised that there was a vehicle that was parked there or a return call from Newman-Dailey with an update.

very nice

We have booked with Newman-Daily the last 3 years. This was our first stay at this condo and this property. The condo was everything I was expecting it to be for the price. Very nice, very clean, updated furniture and technology. We had the cable go out and the kitchen faucet break. Both issues were handled quickly and professionally. If I had to be picky I would say that having parking under the building and not being able to use it was a little aggravating. Seriously considering booking this condo again next year!!!

wonderful property! exactly what we've been searching for!

We have stayed in the Destin area 5-7 times. This unit was, by far, our most favorite place we have stayed! The condo was beautifully furnished and had every kitchen gadget, a washer/dryer and was spacious! The view was amazing and the pool was great, big and always enough chairs, even in June! We were also amazed that the beach was never overly crowded. We will be back!!!

I'll keep it brief! Great location and a really lovely condo with views overlooking the pool and sea. Across the road is the local establishment - Pompono Joe's which is great for food or just a drink. The condo itself - The owners have obviously taken the time to think about what they would like and accommodate accordingly. Bedrooms and lounge have flat-screen TVs and blu-ray players. Most places have bottom of the line TVs and DVD players so this was a good sign of their willingness to provide a great facility. The condo was spacious, well decorated and beds very comfortable. I really couldn't find anything negative and felt at home straight away. ...and no, we don't know the owners or have any affiliation with the Realtors/Letting agents!

i am a clean freak!! i bring all of my own cleaning supplies and wash all of the linens and towels before i can be comfortable away from home. i was so impressed with the towels and sheets smelling so fresh and clean! the toilets and tubs had no hair in them!! the place was furnished with the best of everything!! i dont ever want to vacation anywhere else!!

wow what a view of the ocean from the 3 terraces in unit

newman dailey is great to work with, service we like best: were beach chairs with shade set up every morning on beach and taken down in evening. The condo was very clean, top quality in decor, the view of ocean incredible, felt safe in condo at night. Only thing we would have changed is better lighting in covered parking under the building when you would come in alone a night.

spring break 2010

Teresa and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The restaurants were fabulous and with the weather not being quite up to par, we explored areas east and west of Destin. The Magnolia Grill in Ft. Walton Beach was worth the trip and The Red Bar was quite good also. When the weather cooperated, the beaches and the pool were wonderful and the accomodations were second to none. If I had any complaints it would be that the codes to get in the facility weren't explained well and I never did see a code to get to the beach and pool. The lighting in the garage is a bit suspect also.

great stay

Received great service through the reservation process, through check-in, and through the week. The unit was new, clean, and attractively furnished. The appliances were great. Great location across the beach with a great view. Great beach access. Great pool. The features I liked best were that it was a newer unit, the parking garage, the secure environment, the pool, and the attractive appointments. What I liked least was the big screen TV in the main living room. It's an older projection unit, and the picture was often fuzzy. Recommend it be replaced with nice tube TV or flat screen.

cannot wait to come back!

We had a an awesome experience with the staff at Newman-Dailey! They were so helpful and really gave us excellent customer service! We fell in love with our condo! It decorated wonderfully, the beds were comfortable, and it really felt like home. There was plenty of room with five ladies getting ready together. The beach was beautiful and the unobstructed view was amazing! The short walk to the beach was great! We all agreed that are coming back next year and will be staying in 414E! THANKS so much Newman-Dailey!

nice

Really nice place. I would stay again. Only problems were the amount of gates everywhere to get to the beach, and couldn't get cable tv or stereo system to work. Everything else was wonderful.
