Our stay at this unit 0940 Jade East was great.We had plenty of room to spread out.It was comfortable and cozy.The views were awesome.Thank you for sharing your condo with our family.Destin is our favorite place to vacation.We have been coming for years.??

Stunning property!

This unit was beautiful & functional. The view was breathtaking & we got to watch dolphins play each morning. Staff was very nice. The property manager (I believe) greeted us & was very nice but, upon reporting by us & several others that the pool heater was off-he came & yelled at no one in particular about having cameras & the next person to mess with the heater would be evicted (I understand it’s a stressful job, but…I’m certain it was no one AT the pool who turned it off…. ). Halfway through our stay we were informed we couldn’t have our luggage carrier on & that we could park a little further away or take it off-which was no biggie either way-we just did not know, but he seemed frustrated about informing me. I complied quickly & happily -just was not aware. I’m sure the guy deals with a lot but it was a little off putting. All in all, would be happy to stay again! Make sure to read the rules thoroughly & you’ll be good. Thanks for a great vacation!

Absolutely Beautiful

The Pictures do this place no justice. Absolutely clean and comfortable. I am so picking about where I lay my head and I had no worries the minute I stepped thru the door. The building isnt the best on the outside but that is normal for a beach. The beach was a few steps away from the basement, and so was the pool. The room was on the 9th floor which was nice because my 15 month old could sleep in peace without hearing the laughter from the beach or pool. Overall you will love this place, trust me!

Wonderful vacation stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jade East. Great location! Easy keyless entry. Breathtaking views the minute you walked into the condo! We had everything we needed in the condo. Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and a large kitchen. We felt very at home the entire time. We will definitely return!

Roomy with a fabulous view

This condo is very spacious with great amenities. On top of that the view is unbeatable, it has a fantastic view of the beach as well as the pool. Also the location is surrounded by many of Destin’s most popular attractions, so close that we could even walk to some of them. We highly recommend this condo.

Great family vacation spot

Everything was simple from the keyless entry to relaxing on the picture perfect balcony. Rooms were spacious and a small walk to the beach. We never had any issue except do not bring your pop up tents or umbrellas they will not be accepted by the people running the beach chair service. That was very disappointing since you only get two chairs and one umbrella with your stay. So either you rent more umbrellas and chairs or you sizzle and burn out on the beach. So bring extra money for your guests. The condo was perfect!

Home away from home

2 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 younger children stayed here and everyone was happy! It is spacious enough that we have enough room to spread out, it is decorated very well and the view is phenomenal! Access to the pool, beach and gym was very convenient and fast. We really enjoyed our stay and was very pleased with everything.

Nice time

We had a nice visit here. Two small complaints of the fridge not making ice and several wall outlets didn’t work or the plug would fall straight out of the wall. Overall, nice experience. (Just FYI, I did try and call the manager’s line over the weekend but never got an answer).

Close to perfect

If you open the patio door you can hear the waves of the ocean lapping on the shore and the seagulls in the distance. You are far enough away from the pool area so the noise does not affect your stay and there was usually people in the pool because its amazing. I didnt think I would be in there as much as we were but it is clean, inviting, and steps from the ocean as well. This property had plenty of room for me and my family of six. Plenty of towels. The only complaint I have is the kitchenware is extremely basic. It was difficult to say the least to cook meals. There are very few pots and pans, basic things you need to cook. We got tired of eating out but it was almost like camping trying to find skillets, pots, and pans to accommodate cooking for a large family. But the location of this property makes up for it. Pillows are a bit hard, bed was very soft. It was so nice to have chairs and an umbrella set up every day and an equipment rental right on the beach. Thank you!

Family Vaca

Location was primarily centered in Destin. Plenty of places to eat. Newman-Dailey did a great job as a the property management in quick response and being very friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My only regret was once again using VRBO and over spending $ in “service” fees . Can’t even get them on the phone. They’ve sent me a dozen emails now saying they’ve refunded an old insurance fee and they haven’t. My only suggestion would be to skip third party reservation and reach out directly to property management. Save yourself phantom fees!

Large condo right on the beach!

There was trash under the guest bed-that’s the reason for the 4 star on cleanliness. The ice machine on the fridge was broken. Other than that, it was fine. The beach access and pool Was great!!

Lovely views and fantastic location

Loved the floor to ceiling windows, balcony, spacious layout and pleasant colors. Made even the two rainy days we had great. Pool was heated as promised -which our teens loved- and the ground staff we encountered were pleasant and professional. Being right on the beach was just fantastic. Would have liked some access to beach chairs (even though it was out of season). Kitchen was well equipped (-note: a larger frying pan and/or electric skittle would have made cooking for a large family easier). Bath tubs seems to need some work (none seals well enough to hold water), and water heater did not stay warm enough with 5 people using 3 bathrooms around the same time. But overall these were minor issues that we easily worked around. We loved our stay and hope to be back. Thanks for sharing such a gem!

We had the pleasure of spending over three months in this unit, and it was a great experience. We had several visitors, and all were amazed at the awesome views from this beachfront condo. All the beds were very comfortable. The beautiful kitchen (stainless steel appliances and granite countertops) is well stocked with everything you need. The greatest feature to me was the oversized balcony, with a large table and four chairs, and still more room. Newman-Daily (Jessica) was great to deal with, and our two minor requests were dealt with in just a few hours. We didn't want to leave!

Amazing views and relaxing vacation. Our family visited to celebrate my son getting into college. We wanted to do one last trip before he started his new journey and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The condo was updated and beautifully decorated. Everyone had enough space to spread out and not be on top of each other. We couldn’t’ have asked for more.

wonderful stay!!!

We have rented through newman daily in the past and had a pleasant experience. We go to destin every summer and have stayed at many places all beach front and nice. this was not our first stay at jade east and it is always a good experience. the condos are comfortable and fully equipped as well as updated. our only problem would be how the owners of most condos are going for a week rental fortunately this one allowed us to stay less than a week but you definitely pay higher for it. With all the condos in the area now you would think they would be more flexible for those wanting to stay 4-6 nights!!! my only other complaint would be not to promote the gift card like you are saving money it is something they give you as a plus but for us it is never used. also if you are in a 3 bedroom condo I think you should get 4 beach chairs with condo as opposed to 2 that would be a more useful extra for renting through an agency! all in all a wonderful stay

Gulf views provide outstanding family vacation experience

Recently we just completed our ninth trip to Destin and the beautiful Emerald Coast. And for the 8th time we chose Jade East for our accommodations. Our ninth floor, 3 bedroom condo was perfect for our group of nine providing breathtaking views of the gulf and sunsets that rival them all. A short elevator ride found a beautiful beach, a wonderful pool with hot tub, a workoout room and well-maintained grills for outdoor cooking. Our condo itself was well-appointed but extremely liveable and we had no mechanical issues or disappointments. We intend to return to Destin in mid-summer and will definitely stay at Jade East again.

Loved it!!!

Our family truly enjoyed every bit of our stay at Jade East. We have been staying in Destin for 20 years and have stayed at many different complexes. There was a security guard on site for the duration of our stay. This made us feel good about letting our teenagers go down to the beach in the evenings. The complex was kept very clean. Everyday they were mopping the floors of the common areas, as well as the elevators. They had someone on-site to keep up on all maintenance issues. The pool was great. It was heated, which is a must in April in Destin. We really had no complaints about our unit. It was directly across the street from Big Kahuna's. It was perfect for our large family. We would definitely stay at Jade East again.

Relaxing but not satisfied

(Dislike) We arrived after a long drive to enter the condo 940 and as soon as we walked in we could smell an awful odor.We found some smell from the refrigerator so we purchased baking soda to help eliminate odor.The garbage can had something spilled on the outside of the can.After contacting guest services,they sent someone to clean kitchen area then the smell went away.After we unloaded luggage I began to walk thru the condo and I noticed several things. The walls had a few places that could use repairs for small holes and paint.One of the main slider door leading to balcony wouldn't open.Exhaust fan in master bath was extremly noisey.Oven seem to take forever to heat up the few times we used it.No paper towels. The center bath toilet stopped up and overflowed. The outdoor grill grids needed replace they were falling apart.Went to use grill a few times to find no grill utensils. For the amount of money I paid I was dissapointed over all.(Liked) Location was great,right on the beach.Pool was refreshing.The beach was beautiful and the water was clear and inviting.Plenty of things to do with kids and plenty of places to dine out.I would recommend the area but 940 didn't meet my expectations. I am probably returning again next year for the third time but I will look at other condo's than Jade East.
