Right on the Beach

Location was exactly what I wanted. Condo and building was exactly as pictured on VRBO site. Property mgr was responsive if I reached out. Unit was ready before check-in time. Condo was also decent size. Only cons were you do have to drive to go to eat or do anything; we rented a car, so wasn’t a problem for us), and the floor was a bit dirty when walking around barefoot. The building is a bit outdated, but again, it’s what I expected based on pics and description. For the quality of building, I wish it had cost a bit less… but location was fantastic. Fitness room was a lot smaller than expected. And check-in and check-out process was super simple.

Our second stay in Jade East 530

We first stayed in 530 in Nov 2013 which was our first experience with Newman Dailey. When 530 was available for Nov 2022, we were very happy and then pleasantly surprised to see updates, including new furniture in both bedrooms. Primary Suite KING bed was much too high for me so my hubby lucked out with a gulf front bedroom. A Queen bed and a bunkbed were in the 2nd BR and we both enjoyed very comfortable mattresses and pillows!! The kitchen was fully stocked with 3 sets of dinnerware and various glassware and every utensil that one might need.
THE VIEWS OF THE BEACH w TURQUOISE WATER AND WHITE SAND and GORGEOUS SUNSETS were as we remembered. Only issues we had were minor... missing plug/stopper for kitchen sinks but they were provided after we advised Ryan. Did not have a chance to tell him that dryer took a longer time than it should have to dry clothes so the EXTERIOR DRYER VENT likely needs to cleaning - something we are sure the NDRP maintenance team will attend to upon reading this review. Thanks Newman Dailey and Ryan for a great repeat stay in 2022.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. The friendly staff we encountered on the beach, the sweet cleaning woman who left this place spotless for us, and this beautiful spot that was shared with us may you be blessed! Thank you for giving us a space to get refreshed, regroup, share meals together (this is a very nice kitchen that equipped us with the tools we needed to do that), and make memories that will keep us until the next time we get to gather in person.

Great location within the Destin area; close to several family friendly venues. Very, very, very convenient to get down to the beach. Trash cute was cool and they had carts to help with getting everything to/from the room. It’s the little things that matter when you’ve got two little ones under 5. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved Jade East. The unit was updated, beautifully decorated and very clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. We had a great view from the 5th floor unit. Jade East has plenty of amenities. We highly recommend Newman-Dailey. They are very friendly and you get some wonderful bonuses. Our only complaint was that we had to go back home. We are planning on coming back!
