Cottage 226 is a ground floor rental.

Few people know that the word “beach” is actually an acronym for Best Escape Anyone Can Have! Admittedly, that word origin may not be exactly accurate but it is a truism that this Destin vacation rental carries the full meaning of “beach” throughout its quiet interior. Cool and calm, the tile floors and neutral coastal décor create an atmosphere where you don’t care if you have beach hair, and all that matters is relaxing.

Apart from vacation rental necessities such as a stocked kitchen and laundry room, Hidden Dunes Cottage 226 has some added perks that will make you feel like you’ve found a perfectly whole shell on an already beautiful beach walk. A screened-in and furnished porch provides a tranquil spot for an evening soiree amidst the rustling magnolias and palmettos. Plus, one of Hidden Dunes pool decks is right around the corner and the professional tennis center is a few paces away on the same road as Cottage 226.

While this beach cottage is a peaceful retreat in and of itself, there are a lot of exciting things to do just outside the door when you’re in need of a little fun! Hidden Dunes resort has a very impressive tennis center with clay courts, a basketball court, a horseshoe court, walking paths with water features and deeded access to one of the longest stretches of beach in all the area. Moreover, beyond the gates and even within walking distance lies Silver Sands Factory Stores, dozens of restaurants, supermarkets and beach shops.

Located in the sought-after Hidden Dunes Gulf and Racquet Resort, this community features a professional Tennis and Pickleball Center with 6 Rubico clay tennis courts and 3 hard-surface pickleball courts. The Rubico clay courts, maintained daily for top playing conditions, meet the highest standard for clay surfaces. Proper tennis attire is required, and guests are encouraged to call ahead to schedule a match, join a clinic, or book private lessons. Equipment rentals and session costs are available upon inquiry. Guests also enjoy dedicated deeded beach access exclusive to Hidden Dunes, making it the perfect destination for both relaxation and recreation.

1 PARKING SPACE PROVIDED!

Per Home Owner Association rules: Hidden Dunes does not allow trailers, RV's, motorcycles, boats/jet ski's or golf carts.

We may require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays. In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

love having such a clean and quiet complex.

Loved having the beach chairs provided with our stay also. I think it would be very difficult to find a more beautiful beach than the one if front of Hidden Du es. Love the security of a gated entry and plenty of parking. Our unit was very clean and a relaxed and quiet stay.

This place was immaculate! They offered a pool, playground, basketball court, basketball court, picnic tables and grill, beach access, everything! It was beautiful and family friendly.

our stay this year was absolutely wonderful.

We couldn't of picked a better weather week. We got to see the dolphins, a man of war, and we think manatees?? Although the beach is the best we did enjoy the pool. We are already looking forward to next year. But may change it up and try a different 1 bedroom at hidden dunes!! Thanks for helping us enjoy our Anniversary vaca!! See ya next year

Our cottage at Hidden Dunes was beautiful. We loved all the trees and landscape. It had everything we needed for the week. The property staff was very nice and attentive. We will definitely return here for another visit. They might wanna update their mattresses. That was our only negative thing to say.

Hidden Dunes is a beautiful property! The condo was so clean and smelled wonderful when we walked in! The pool is lovely and the walk to the Beach wasn’t bad at all. Will definitely stay again!

The location was great for tennis and pool. For a very small kitchen it was well equipped. The unit could use a little freshening up (paint on mirror needed to be scraped, drawer on nightstand was broken). Our only real complaint was the mattress. It was very uncomfortable and was on a piece of plywood.

we loved the beach cottage!

We loved the beach cottage! The service was excellent. I think the dolphin tour we did through Explorie was the most fun I had. There was a problem with a leaking air conditioner unit above us, but the management responded right away when we told them about it.
