we loved it.
The week was pure bliss! We had beach, basketball, pool, porch swing as a full on routine for the entire week! The plan was “NO PLAN”. All the features were within easy walking distance. The cottages were all fabulous and clean. We could hear our upstairs neighbors at times but that comes with the territory. Our boys had a great time (4 families, 6 - 17 year olds) and were able to do what they wanted and still be part of the family. There is plenty to do in the area but I would easily do the Hidden Dunes again.

184 looked great and the property is beautiful and well maintained.
Really love staying at the Dunes. We chose the Dunes over the Hilton this time. The beach is absolutely amazing. Along with the great restaurants and activities galore Be seeing you next year.

This review is to share the wonderful hospitality we received from Janet and the entire reservation team. Janet worked to secure side by side accomodations for our extended family and, the week we were to arrive, guided us through the incredible disappointment when our trip was cancelled due to 2 positive COVID diagnosis’s.
I highly recommend Janet and all members of the Newman Dailey team. They are Destin’s best!

amazing!!
This place was amazing. The house was roomy, very clean, relaxing, and quiet. My master bedroom was very nice and so was the master bathroom (really loved the bathroom). Location was great, with just no less than a five minute walk to the beach and only down the street from all the outlet shops and restaurants. I would very very much recommend this stay to anybody looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

We stayed at the same exact condo in 2020 and again this month. It was great back then and even better now! They’d made some upgrades (very nice but not expected). We fell in love with the swing on the covered patio! Highly recommend this place!

perfect stay
Perfect condo and property for our stay! We had never been to the Destin area, and booked the trip on a whim and drove 20 miles from Minnesota. We loved the short walk to the heated pool and beach. We felt the grounds and cottage were clean and there was plenty of room for social distancing. We loved swimming in the pool everyday and relaxing on the screened in porch at night. We will be back!

we were completely comfortable and had everything we needed.
Cottage 184 was extremely well located not far from the beach. It would have been perfect if the weather had cooperated, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach as we'd hoped to. Having the easy use of beach chairs and an umbrella was very nice. The kitchen was more than adequate, as were the bathrooms with even a spa-type tub in one. I really liked the secluded feel of it with easy access to the pool as well as to the beach. What I liked least was the TV taking up the dresser top in the smaller bedroom
We particularly enjoyed having access to such wonderful seafood! Getting to be with two sets of family made the visit very enjoyable.

carefree and relaxing condo
We have stayed at the Hidden Dunes for a number of years. We keep coming back due to the comfort, care, and fun we have when we stay there. Every condo that we have stayed in is clean and well managed. There are two pools for those that like to get away from the beach some. The beach is always clean and the staff is very helpful. Each condo feels very private.

a relaxing, comfortable & enjoyable stay.
The resort personnel were friendly and very helpful when or if needed. My cottage was clean and comfortable and quiet. My stay was relaxing and too short! Hidden Dunes always seems to make your stay at the beach one that makes you want to return no matter the weather or water conditions.

We stayed 3 months. The resort is heavily forested shielding out the sun.That requires going a short distance to a pool
Or to the beach for direct sun.
The highway 98 access is heavily traveled and difficult
To enter, coming or going. Hidden Dunes Resort is
well managed and they respond quickly to any needed
services or requests.

"cottage was the best"
I have owned a condo in Destin and have rented others. This "cottage" was the best. We had a great time. Wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.
