we have stayed at gulf winds east several times in the past.
It is within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, and shops. And the best part it is right across the street from the beach.

the home is beautiful.
Stayed here mid/end July 2025. My self and 5 teenagers. The home was perfect location, just a walk across the street to the private beach. Outdoor storage closet has beach chairs, umbrella set up, boogie boards and beach toys for use while there. Pool is literally right outside the front door. Everything was pretty much perfect. Thank you for the magical time with my babies!

the condo was very comfortable and tastefully decorated in appropriate beach style.
The kitchen was well equipped for immediate use. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys in the closet outside.. the beach is just a three minute walk and there are nice restaurants within walking distance…looking forward to our next visit…

i would definitely stay again
Absolutely perfect. They had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, linen, towels. Very clean. Air conditioner REALLY works ?? smart tvs/cable in living room and bedrooms. Pull out couch is not comfortable, but I’ve never slept on one that was! You are guaranteed ONE parking place… we discovered on our own that if you are given 2 parking tags in your welcome packet, you can park in an unnumbered spot. Otherwise there is no overnight parking with in 15 minutes that we could find. Beach access was 2 min walk from condo. I would definitely stay again.

one of our favs!
The unit was pretty much as we expected it to be. We did have a couple small issues that were quickly rectified by staff. Unit had pretty much all the needed creature comforts of home, most dishes and utensils needed for cooking, although thinking about it now, it could use more plastic bowls for mixing and prep. Glass bowls are cool, but plastic would be much easier to deal with and some larger ones as well. I did find it weird that a few cabinets were locked. Just made it feel weird to me, but otherwise not an issue. Good unit, good value, would stay again!

loved our stay!
I loved Airbnb. There was a minor issue/hiccup with parking. Someone was parked in the parking space assigned to me, however, that was not the fault of Newman-Dailey's. They jumped right on the issue and ensured that the issue was resolved as quickly as possible. The staff/customer service team was very responsive and ensured my concerns were addressed. Other than that, everything ran smoothly. I loved the location of the condo and it was clean. It provided the essentials plus some. It is within walking distance of the private beach. And the pool was right outside the condo's door. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and within 10 min. drive. Overall, despite the minor hiccup, I will definitely return/rebook the home when I come back to Destin! I rate this Airbnb 10/10.

clean and secure
The condo was incredibly clean and it was nice having electronic locks instead of having to carry keys with us. Each of us could come and go easily while still keeping our belongings safe.

vacation in winter
Staff was great to deal with and condo was all that we expected. Will book this condo again in the future and love Newman-Dailey.

We loved staying here. This is a smaller scale group of condos and it creates a very family oriented vibe. It’s not as commercial as the larger scale condo agencies. This specific condo recently had an entire makeover and it is gorgeously done. The unit is so enjoyable with the fabulous decor! The couch and oversized chair are white. Beautiful! As one would expect white is difficult to keep clean so I would recommend a cleaning. It was clean but had some stains. The kitchen only has a keurig. For us serious coffee drinkers I would recommend adding a coffee maker with a pot in addition to the keurig. There are limited utensils and I recommend the owner stocking the kitchen a bit more. However, we enjoyed the condo immensely and it was very clean! The unit is located across the street from the beach. There is a minimum walk so packing coolers etc is not an issue. There is an outdoor closet stocked with water toys, sand buckets, and coolers. They had a rolling cooler for the renter’s use and that was awesome! There is a charcoal grill on back patio and they provided a bag of charcoal. That was nice! The pool was clean and the property was well cared for. We will definitely stay again!!!
