The decor, furniture and accessories was perfect. The kitchen absolutely had everything I needed. We hope to return next year for a family trip and I will definitely book unit 24. it’s a great location just steps to the beach and pompano joe’s for some great seafood.
My husband and I just celebrated our 25th Anniversary and took a quick trip to Destin. We have stayed several times at Blue Surf and in unit 24 once before. We always have a wonderful time.

amazing location
I’m really happy we choose this property, great location just across the beach and a great restaurant. The property is great, the pool and grill right there. The view in the morning. Everything was great. I will come back to this property if need it in the future.

This property has been our favorite Condo and location in all the trips too Destin. A fast and easy walk to the beach! The view from our balcony was amazing. The convenience of Pompano Joes for drinks and appetizers during the beach day ???! Our chairs and umbrella waiting on us to arrive everyday saved a lot of time and energy, Dad appreciated this the most! We used the spacious kitchen regularly and the huge family living area. We will try to stay at Blue Surf 24 again next year! A review from Combs Party of 3!

great condo
We have now stayed in this condo 3 years in a row and plan to return again next year. Clean, quiet and comfortable with easy access to area restaurants and shopping. One thing that could be better is more efficient cooling of the upstairs, always much warmer than the first floor. Otherwise we left planning to return next year to #24.

just like the ole days....
We started coming to Blue Surf 29 years ago and have booked many stays in different units. This unit is one of the better we've stayed in over the years. You just can't beat the Blue Surf for location, room to play and run (huge grassy areas), nice centrally located pool, and such an easy stroll over to the beach. The only complaint we have about this specific unit is when you run the dryer, expect your unit to raise 5-8 degrees as it appears the dryer vent is not either attached securely or is blocked because hot, humid air pours from the washer closet. Also, the lower level needs rugs in kitchen and bathroom! Of course that is easily fixable which is why we still give this a 5 star: great price for summer, especially for the location and nicely cared for - one of the best values we've found in Destin.

24 blue surf in destin, fl is a winner!
Great location with easy access to the Beach! We loved that 2 beach chairs, umbrella and set up come with the condo! The condo itself was nice, clean and check-in was super easy! We enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony every morning and people watching! The condo has a great location with in the complex and is convenient to the pool. We plan to use Newman-Dailey again with hopes of getting the same, exact condo!

Housekeeping could do a better job! Love dealing with Newman Dailey. Condo had nice and comfortable furniture. Kitchen well stocked. Had everything we needed and more , there was 2 can openers that didn't work but I went out and purchased a cheap one it was no big deal. I still think Condo owners should have 2 sets of Bedspreads to be cleaned after each stay. Can't wait til next summer. ???? Close walk to the beach. Jeanne and Sarah are WONDERFUL !. Very professional. Had all the right answers. Kudos to you Ladies!

The condo was well stocked. I think Housekeeping overlooked somethings. The vent in the downstairs was full of dust along with cobwebs in most rooms. The ceiling fans needed cleaning. Overall great location to the beach. We have stayed there the past 10 years and always enjoy Destin. The beach service is a bonus. Jeannie Dailey and Sarah are just super. Can't wait for next year.

My family stayed in 23 and 24 and we enjoyed our stay The location was great and our places were very nice The only complaint I had was the beach service staff was not very helpful We figured out things pretty much on our own and we were under the impression we had the seats until 5 but they wanted to take them down before then the last 2 days the guy was a little better than earlier in the week I am sure these people don't feel appreciated but if they had been a little nicer and more helpful they would have received a tip from us This is a great ammenity that you provide

we loved our stay here much better than the high-rise complexes.
Nicely furnished, comfortable, well managed, quiet two story town home with two private parking places, conveniently located in small complex of 27 units, all facing the beach. The complex has a nice grassy quadrangle with small private swimming pool, outdoor shower, two beach side areas for hosing off and a barbecue pit with bench. Seventy-second beach access is across a small street with cross walk where all the vehicles come to a screeching halt for pedestrians. A paved jogging path runs parallel to the small road. The price includes beach service of a huge heavy-duty umbrella and two nice wooden beach lounge chairs, all set up at 7 a.m. by beach workers (reserve the day before during holidays). The beach has two lifeguards and security due to the public parking lot nearby and it is very well kept but not overly crowded, even on one of the busiest weekends of the year. Pompano Joe’s popular and lively seafood restaurant is catty corner to the complex and right on the beach. It’s great for pina coladas, steamed crab legs and beach volleyball. It closes at 10 p.m. so no late night noise to endure. In fact, we found the unit to be well built and very quiet. No noises from common wall neighbors or street traffic. The layout is designed for privacy. The bedrooms are on different floors and the upstairs bedroom is not directly over downstairs bedroom. The parking lot door enters the kitchen with long bar counter, four stools with room to spare and a table that seats six. The downstairs bathroom (large walk in shower only) is accessible from the hall and the downstairs bedroom with queen size bed and a furnished patio that faces the gulf. All floors are white tile downstairs with an area rug in the bedroom. The carpeted stairs lead to an upstairs living room with bar and a balcony with terrific views of the beach/gulf. The adobe brick colored sofa has a sleeper. The master suite boasts a very comfortable mattress (this from the princess and the pea) and tub/shower combination and large mirrored door closet. The upstairs is entirely carpeted. There are flat screen TV’s in every room (extra large one in living room), a washer, dryer unit and well-stocked kitchen with icemaker. Free Wi-Fi throughout. Parking spaces are right outside the door and there’s no elevator or long suffering waits to cram into a crowded box. Also, very close to the upscale Silver Sands Outlet Mall. We will absolutely try to book this particular unit every time we come to Destin and we highly recommend it.

just as great as ever!
We stayed at the Blue Surf several times in the mid-90's. We had not been able to come back to Destin for almost 20 years. Recently we decided to return and stayed at the Blue Surf again. We were glad to find it was just as great as ever. Unit 24 had been recently remodeled and was beautiful. We had one small issue when we were unable to get the living room TV to work. We called your office and a N-D employee appeared promptly and fixed the problem. The beaches were as beautiful and clean as ever and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope our next visit won't be as long as last time!

Our first time staying at Blue Surf and all I can say is WOW!! My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Blue Surf 23/24. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous with everything you needed and more. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was right in reach from the beach to stores. I definitely recommend BS to anyone who is visiting Destin looking for a great family place to stay. My family and I are already looking forward to our next stay. Next year if it's God's will BS here we come!!

Enjoyable vacation. We loved having the bedrooms on separate floors. The kids can get rowdy so being able to get away from them a bit was nice. We enjoyed the pool and the beach while we were there and the kids love the dolphin cruise. We hope to be back soon

We have been coming to Florida for the past 10 years. For the most part we have stayed at the Blue Surf. Although the unit could use a few updates, it is very comfortable and the balcony is fantastic! So nice to just be able to walk across the street and you are at the beach for the day and can to eat at Pompano Joes in the evening. We will be back in September again!

Check-in and out was extremely easy! Nd employees were very helpful and polite. The location couldn't have been better...easy stroll to the beach, or right out the back door to the pool. We loved that the grill was right out the back door also. We wished that the house had grill utensils, but everything else that we needed was there!

We have been coming to The Blue Surf since 1997 and love the location, grounds and apartments--particularly the family atmosphere. Number 24 is very nice but could use a little updating in the upstairs bar area. My preference is on the other side of the complex because the sunshine hits there in the evening and the view is a little better, in my opinion. The view from 24 is great too though and there is always Pompano Joe's across the street! The grounds look great by the way.

Great view from the second floor balcony, excellent beach and water. The townhome needs a little updating: master bed mattress and couch WAY too soft. Well stocked kitchen and some truly delightful posters and paintings! Would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. Loved that it was non-smoking and especially loved the electronic entry. I've stayed in several different units and wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of them again.

wonderful family vacation
I highly recommend staying at Blue Surf Condos. The management staff was very pleasant, and the condo was absolutely delightful. You have a beautiful view from the condo and it really is an easy walk right across to the beach where you have reserved umbrellas and beach chairs. The owners of our condo supplied a grill, so we were able to cook out a few nights for dinner.
We will definitely be back and couldn't have had a more wonderful time in Destin.
