Was pleasantly surprised a year ago so we decided to stay here again this year and was not disappointed. The location, friendly staff, cleanliness...Everything was perfect for my wife and me. We plan to stay again next year ?? The only negative is that it's not closer to home!

beachside inn was a great place to stay!
The room was very clean and beautiful (with an amazing shower) and had a very nice pool. It was only a few feet from a beautiful Destin beach. Note that it comes with 1 parking spot that you don’t have access to until check in at ~4 pm. Check in and check out were very easy (just a code, no need to talk to someone at a desk). Would stay again!

The beach and restaurants near by were all walking distance or less than a 10 minute drive. It was exactly what I was looking for as far as a relaxing beach vacay goes. I’ll definitely be back! It was also clean!

I love the place, we stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It was a very nice experience. Our room is clean, the place is quiet and relaxing, they have elevator that is very convenient since our room is at the second floor. The hot tub and pool hours is 10am-10pm that we get to enjoy after a long day at the beautiful pristine beach. They also gave us a yummy bread with chia seeds on it. The place is just right across the beach area that is very accessible.

The parking. In the evening, when the restaurant opens, that traffic takes parking away from people who paid good money to stay there. The other male valet said he couldn't do anything about it. Really made my husband upset. It made it hard for me to get to our room because of an injured foot.

great room and location
It was very close to the beach. My toddler loved being able to walk around in the sand! The room was very spacious, even with a kennel and a pack-n-play. The staff was very friendly and cleaned very well.
The one drawback I found was that the parking lot is shared with a restaurant. Unless you were arriving after 10 p.m., you were not going to find a spot to park. We had to wait for someone to leave multiple times before we could park.

My work partner and I needed a quick weekend getaway with our pups and this was a perfect spot! Great location in Destin and so close to the beach. The cafe downstairs is perfect for afternoon drinks to carry back to the beach or coffee in the morning! The place was full of dogs, but inside our room we didn’t hear anyone else’s. Perfect spot right across the parking lot for the doggies to potty! I will definitely be booking again!

At arrival to the Beachside Inn it was easy to check in because they already sent me my door code and we could go straight in. When we first walked in it smelled very fresh and clean in the room! I loved that they had tile floors because then I knew the floors were easily sanitized for us. It is directly across a 2 lane street to the beach. You can see the beach from the pool deck. There is a crosswalk on the road to the other side that has a pavilion, boardwalk to the beach, bathrooms & outdoors showers. Only wish that it had a kitchen and that it was directly beachside with the view from room and it would be perfect. Still a great place! It has a nice restaurant. It has a grassy area for you pets to go to the bathroom & they provide pickup bags to pick up after your pet. Great stay.

The room was wonderful and location was great, just a short walk across the street and you are at the beach! Only issue the restaurant upstairs is close to most of the rooms and you can hear everyone screaming in the halls and phones going off. I would recommend getting a room on the very end opposite of the restaurant

Amazing location and accommodations! Rooms were unique in décor, front desk staff wee friendly and helpful. Having the microwave and refrigerator was just what we needed. This place is perfect for a couple, or a couple with a child. Swimming pool was clean and entire area was well kept. And - only walk across the street to the beautiful Destin beach!!

Just love our stay, the room was clean with some minor maintenance needed in the bathroom and with the plug in outlets. Beds were to die for, so comfortable and soft, bed linens were clean, soft and very up to date. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Beach was extremely easy to get to even though not right on beach. I would definitely stay here again in a heart beat, but not crazy about restaurant on the property, the parking was given first come first serve didn't matter if you were staying in resident or not so in the evenings you could not park anywhere near your room if at all unless you were very lucky. I feel if you are staying in residents you should be given preference of parking. Still feel this hotel was a lovely place and world stay again.

What a fabulous week we have just had at La Terrazza sul Garda. We were greated warmly by Nadia who showed us around the apartment which has the most spectacular views from every window. We were plied with fresh eggs and tomatoes which was such a kind gesture and then some lovely home produced olive oil to take home. We loved the setting and would certainly return again in the future. The apartment is well appointed and exceptionally clean. Nadia had also kindly left a food pack for when we arrived. We can't fault this appartment.

one night stay
A last minute change of route home brought us to Beachside Inn. Tired and ready to get out of the vehicle, and traveling with out four legged friend, we called Beachside Inn. From check in to our departure early the next morning, we were extremely impressed. Beautiful amenities, comfortable and lovely bedding and oh my goodness the loaf of complimentary baked goods was out of this world. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Will return and encourage friends to check out this gem.

from booking to checkout i felt like i was dealing with family
I called to book and was pleasantly surprised when I spoke with someone on site. I believe I spoke with Kellie the first time. I made several calls afterwards and every time I was more certain that I had made the right choice for our Destin stay. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. When we (myself and 3 teens) walked through the door we all were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were and how clean they smelled! The furnishings, the linens (which we wanted to take home with us) were above expectations. One day I was in the room working when the room was being cleaned. The gentleman and lady (they were a married couple) were quick and thorough. They were very hospitable and friendly. The room next door was occupied by a family and their dog Dexter. Dexter didn't like being alone but the staff was very attentive to seeing that his barking did not disturb the guests (as were his owners). The only thing I know of that could have been better was the internet service. Throughout the stay it was sporadic as it would come and go but even with that we will definitely be back! The pools and the hot tub were beautiful. The walk to the beach was very insignificant. I recommend this to anyone that wants a nice, reputable, clean and friendly environment for their stay.

pet friendly, helpful staff and great location
We loved the location-just a short stroll from the beach, perfect for us. Our dog enjoyed the pet friendly atmosphere, especially being able to have breakfast with us at the cafe. Our room was large and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge even helped us find a dog friendly restaurant for lunch. There was a minor hiccup with the parking. When we returned for a day's outing, all the parking spots had been taken or were blocked off with cones. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with a pet.

This is a "Goldielocks" property: just the right size. There is easy access to the beach. The rooms are very clean and have everyting you need. The facility is well maintained. The staff is very accomodating. We will be back!

family friendly beach vacation
We visited Miramar Beach after our trip to Disney World. We met my parents there and stayed for 4 days. The 2 bedroom two bathroom condo provided plenty of space for us. Everything was very clean and very quiet at night despite the fact that the condos completely full.
The location was literally right across the street from the beach and the beach was beautiful. The beach service was wonderful (the umbrellas were a very necessary shelter from the sun).
The service from the rental agency was very good. They easily accommodated my parent's check in even though I had made the booking and didn't realize that they had arrived hours before us. They also managed to secure a separate booking at a second property at the last minute for my parents when they realized that their flight did not leave until a day after our reservation was over. They were able to do this even though it the very busy week of July 4th.
The only suggestion I have is that if people are staying for a short time, perhaps a sponge and some basic cleaning implements could be provided so that we could properly clean the dishes and counters etc. It was a bit of an inconvenience to have to purchase these items for such a short stay in order to return the condo to its checkout condition.

The employees at Beachside Inn were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We loved that it was pet friendly. Our only regeret was that we were not directly on the beach. Of course, we knew that when we made our reservations, but we now know how important it is to us to be on the beach.

comfortable, convenient accomodations
The Inn is very conveniently located across the street from beach access, and, in spite of being only a couple of blocks from a major shopping center, is very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the morning muffins are tasty.
If you plan to spend most of your time outside your room, this is an affordable and lovely place to stay. Our room was like a typical hotel room, expect for the pleasant color scheme, ceiling fan, tile floor and extra comfy--and very tall!--queen beds. Much like a typical motel, our only window looked out over the parking lot, and anyone passing by could look right in. The biggest drawback to staying here was that we couldn't flood the room with sunshine. Otherwise, everything was fine.

unexpected room condition
First let me say I have stayed at this property several times. So, I was very surprised to find a considerable amount of some type of debris on the floor. As I was a late check-in, there wasn't much to be done the night of my stay. This won't stop me from staying at the resort again as it is a very comfortable and convenient property. I feel certain this was an unusual and isolated incident as I have never encountered anything like it before.

Pleasantly surprised...for the price and the cleanliness and the special touches...straw paper string wrappings on the shower curtain etc, the fresh flowers, great sleeping beds, the sliding doors to the bathroom area and sink area...also was not expecting the mini refrigerator, the toaster, coffee maker, and toaster...great additions to make our trip more affordable. Great location also, being near the beach access, Bass Pro Shop, Destin Harbor Walk...etc.
Already recommending you to others...Also a special "thanks" to Eunice for making my son's 2 month anniversary with his girlfriend "special". A great vacation memory for my 2 sons and me. Elyse

fabulous weekend
My daughter and I have been coming to the Beachside Inn for our annual Girls Getaway for almost 10 years. We love the Beachside Inn because of its cleanliness and convenient location to the Beautiful Crystal Shores Beach. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next trip. Thank you for honoring us as "return visitors". We also enjoy Camille's Coffee Shop and appreciate the breakfast coupons. We only wish that the Beachside Inn would re-instate the discount on beachchairs and umbrella rentals. That would make our trip even more incredible. See you next time!!!

my family and i were very pleased with our stay.
The Destin Beachside Inn is in an excellant location-not on the beach, but from the pool and the restaurant's outside seating area, the ocean and beach is visible just across the road. There is a large opening between the two buildings across the road, allowing for the great view. The pool is awesome. Our friends and other family members were at a different place of stay, and they were amazed at the difference in the pools. Ours was very clean, two-level, with a hot-tub nearby. The location was close to restaurants and shopping, which proved convenient. The only negative I felt, was that the breakfast which was provided by the inn consisted of a danish or muffin, and a cup of coffee. This was not the type of meal my family and I desired, but may be suitable for many. The room was exceptionally clean. We chose for ours not to be disturbed during our stay, and only asked for wet towels to be exchanged for clean ones. Therefore I can't score the service of the room cleaners. The service from the front desk clerks was excellant. They were both friendly and helpful. Eunice even stood outside and chatted with me while she watered the plants one morning. I enjoyed our conversation. She and Donna both ensured that our stay was as pleasant as possible. I appreciate them both and hope to visit the Beachside Inn again someday-hopefully for a longer stay next time!

mostly wonderful experience
We have stayed here once before. Love the room and love the location. This time though I do feel like getting our room cleaned was a hassle. With two small children who nap around the times you guys clean, it was an ordeal to get clean towels at times.

We loved the room. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 205 on the second level so the pool was easy to get too without getting in the parking lot. Although we didn't use it this time we will bring movies for the dvd player next year. We plan to come back in May every year hopefully since this time was so nice. Beach access was excellent. THe only thing I would suggest and I don't know how long the results would last at the beach, is that you pressure wash the red brick walways to reduce the black foot grease that comes back in the clean room with you.

Stayed at this property while participating in a friend's wedding. Overall nice stay, but whatever the housekeeping staff uses on the tile floors causes black gooey residue on feet. Not acceptable. Cheap soap/shampoo. Good access to beaches and close to other amenities.

Nicely decorated property adjacent to wonderful beach and within easy drive to shopping, grocery, good restaurants.
Very pleased.
The downside is that it is somewhat inconvenient to go down to Majestic Sun for check in or other details.
Pool is undersized but adequate. This location is good for those seeking value and quiet - away from the noise, and not needing additional recreational amenities.

quaint, affordable hotel right across from the beach.
This hotel is a renovated inn located right across from the beach and public beach access. Our room was bright orange with tile floors. (very festive). The double pool and hot tub was very pretty, and you have a view of the beach from the pool. We had lunch at the street level restaurant. They had a grill and cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs , chicken and beef with peppers. I had the hamburger; it was very good. The first night there, our neighbor was VERY noisy; he partied until 3:30am. We could not call the front desk because the office closes at 10pm. We told the front desk our dilemma the next morning. They were very accommodating. They moved our neighbor to a different room, and our next two nights there were very quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel is the best part. For the price, you really can't beat the value of this hotel. It was very close to shopping and many restaurants. I would stay here again.
