loved the location!

I love how our room was walking distance from the beach. I love Camille restaurant and the live music. ?? It was very relaxing and quiet! The beds were very comfortable. The smell of soap in the room was phenomenal, and the shower was wonderful!

the attached restaurant and cafe are wonderful!

My stay was booked under very stressful circumstances. I was evacuating my home from hurricane Helene. I literally booked my stay at 9am and was checking in at 4pm. Both booking and check in were seamless. The price was fair and the room was comfortable and clean. Most importantly was allowing my dog to come with me.

wish i could just move in! a sanctuary for those seeking rest.

The pictures are exactly accurate. The rooms are fresh and clean. Modern and Beachy. The location is supreme. Safe, quiet, and spectacularly close to the beach. My room was directly across from the hot tub/pool area and so close to Camille’s cafe and restaurant. This is my new home away from home. I will most certainly be back. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Cafe was very expensive with poor portions and staff was unfriendly and snippy. won’t go back there. Camille’s staff was excellent but food was so/so and way overpriced and salty. fantastic beach vacation

The staff were amazing and super attentive! When they noticed the three of us in a one king bed room, they moved us to a double queen with no extra charge. The location was perfect. Close to stores and restaurants, but only a 30 second walk to the beach. Very clean!!

We loved our stay here, loved the short walk to the beach, in less than 2 minutes we were enjoying the waves! Super close to the malls and restaurants. The room was very clean and loved that they have ceramic tiles instead of carpet like all other places. We will definitely stay here again!

I thought the room was nice and the location was great . The pools was clean but needed a little attention .I thought the coffee shop was way overpriced I paid $88 + for three burnt pulled pork sandwiches and a grilled cheese and 4 small smoothies that all tasted like green bananas .I don't know if it is owned by the hotel I give you a 3.5 I would stay there again

As for the positioning, the apartment is good, but it’s more than 500 meters from the see and near 1-1,5 km from the beach. The apartment has everything you need as a reference base for a holiday. Cleanliness is good. There is enough space for 8 people and beautiful terrace. Are available free parking and free wi-fi. You can use barbeque. There are air conditions only in the hall in both stages and there is additional pay for that. We had a good time at house Katarina!

Great location; not among huge high-rises, not on the busy main US 98, but rather just a short walk across a non-major street to the beach, with lots of nice restaurants and a State Park either a short walk or drive away. The only things that would make the place better would be more reliable maid service (they really should add a second crew), and I wish they would make at least one of the pools non-smoking. In fact, it would be nice if the whole place were non-smoking. Parking at night can be a bit dicey at times as they share the lot with a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We've recommended it to friends in the past and will continue to do so,

awesome motel

Disappointed I had to choose 4 or 5. The inn wasn't perfect, but easily 4.5 stars My wife and I rented a one bed, handicapped accessible room on the second floor. There was an elevator near the beach side, next to the office and restaurant. Neither of us are handicapped, but the additional amenities include: + large bathroom door + toilet bars on the left and back side (described as sitting on the throne) + two bathtub bars on the tub interior + one bathtub bar opposite the faucet + folding bathtub seat opposite the faucet + shower head could be raised/lowered and rotated (although not removed) + sink and vanity had a chair Unfortunately, the bed was on the same wall as the restaurant. Some sounds drifted through during business hours. About 10:00 PM, the dishes could be heard through the wall. This is the first hotel/motel I've been in without carpeted floors. The room was clean when we checked in, but we did not do a good job keeping sand out. We also did not permit maids in during our stay. Maybe either would have helped, but the tile seemed to sweat at night. My evening shower before bed was followed by a foot bath near the bed to keep the floor grime out of the sheets. The kingsize bed was the best bed I've slept in. By comparison, my bed at home is too soft. During the trip back I slept in a Holiday Inn Express - their mattress was too hard. All of the staff were very friendly. The complementary bread was awesome, waiting for us in the room. Bread, apples, bananas, and coffee were free from the office. The room was a good size. The table was barely big enough for two people... certainly not enough for the three chairs. The TV was maybe a 40" tube type, but we watched less than one hour during our trip. The 10' ceilings were a big plus. We had a great view of the pool, but only the restaurant offers a view of the ocean. The restaurant, Camille's, uses local suppliers. The price is a little high, but the pizza and service were great!

We had a wonderful time at Beachside Inn. The service was the best ever & helped us enjoy our stay. Our room was great & the staff were very friendly. Being a few steps to the beach was a big plus & your pool was lovely. Camille's restaurant & cafe were fabulous. The food was Devine. I especially was fond of the young man at the cafe that called my beagle, Shiloh instead of Sadie. I would highly recommend Beachside Inn to everyone. Can't wait for a return trip. We have enjoyed our stay. Clean room good room service. The breakfast was not good. for the price for the room they can do better than a muffin or a danish. The selection of tea was good. The restaurant upstairs is very nice. The deserts were delicious. My wife doesnt like bread pudding but there she ate it all. Very good deserts and friendly staff as well.

the best time

I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the service and proximity to the beach. There is one negative thing that I would have to say is that there was no parking space for us to park. I believe it was because of the restaurant and/or other factors and we had to park outside the rental property twice.

nOslagia with a modern twist! Do you remember pulling into your hotel parking and unloading in front of the door! This is it! Very clean friendly inn by a gorgeous beach just literally steps away! So Conveinent and a lovely area of Destin old 98! Loved the little patio bar in front of hotel! Very quaint cute live music Saturday Nite! Stay here for atruly unique experience very clean! we love this place!

We have stayed at the Beachside Inn several times and just love it. It is so cozy and right near everything. We did have an issue with housekeeping this time not sweeping or cleaning our tub but overall we will come back. Eunice and Donna are great! The restaurant there is so great. you guys are great as usual

I usualy rent a condo if I stay more than a day. Beachside inn is great too. I stayed few times before. But I have to say there service and the properties are great. I been renting vacation condos from Newman-dailey for last 12 years. I always suggest my friends and family to go to Destin and stay in one of their resort properties. I am planning to go there next two weeks and as usual I will stay in one of their resort properties.

one of my favorite places to stay!!

Nice big rooms and beds. Perfect for couples and families. Small walk across a neighborhood street to the beach. Cafe has good food and snacks for during the day, and restaurant had romantic atmosphere. Cafe took awhile getting food and forgot orders a couple of time when they were busy in the mornings. Other than that, Love it!!

excellent little resort

Upon arrival, the office was closed, but there's a phone box outside. I called the number listed, and the management took my name and credit card information. She gave me the combination to the room and we were all set. Very convenient! The rooms are very nice and clean. There's a restaurant and bar upstairs but we didn't spend a lot of time there. We ate there twice, and the food was great. There's a sandwich shop downstairs and we spent every morning there drinking coffee, and eating the free continental breakfast. (which is a danish) There's free WiFi throughout the resort. I had no problems with the connection. The beach is just across the street. Very easy access. You can be there in under 60 seconds. We are definitely going to return. ;)

bad communication

When I reserved the hotel room online I had asked for a room with a king bed. However, when it booked -it acutally booked 3 different times, which I will say that the company called and took care of but no one ever mentioned that the room I had wanted to book was unavailable. Imagine our surprise when we got here to celebrate our anniversary that the room we had had two beds. When I went to the front desk to inquire, I was just told...sorry about that. I have been in the customer service industry for 10 years and believe me... 'sorry about that' doesn't cut it.

My husband my dog and I had a wonderful time. The accomodations were very nice. The staff was more than accomodating. We felt very much at home. The location was perfect. a week at the beach

Loved the pools and the easy access to the beach. The room is nice with a door that closes off a dressing area by the bathroom. My mom is in a wheelchair and the ramp to the beach is really right across the street. The ramp is connected to a nice, new pavillion with bathrooms and outdoor showers. Small street, no traffic, stop sign at the corner, really easy, thank goodness as it was just the two of us!!! Beach service right near the ramp for $25. a day. We stayed at the beachside because it's pet friendly and they truly are pet friendly! Our room was on the first floor, second door from the office and right in front of the handicapped ramp. Very convenient. Only problem was the noise. We could hear EVERYTHING from the parking lot. Our excellent little watchdog was on guard all night and there wasn't much sleeping going on. We slept on the beautiful beach the next day so it all worked out. It was really a good stay. The most important things for us were having my mom's dog and easy access to the beach. Both were great. If ever in Destin again we would certainly stay here - just not so close to the office.

The employees are polite and very accommodating. The rooms are nice but, I find the walls are thin. We were in a room with an adjoining door and the family on the other side stayed up into the wee hours and we could hear every word. The next morning we complained to the front desk and they politely moved the family to another room. It's a pet friendly property. The location is great. Easy to get to, shops and restaurants blocks away and most of all great access to the beach. Overall, it's the best place for us when we just want to get away for two or three days.

The ladies at the front desk were very courteous and helpful. The pool is beautiful and warm. The facility was very clean and fresh, and the beach is right across the street. Don't worry about crossing the street, the two lane road has a speed limit of 25 and there is a 4 way stop and crosswalk at the motel. Everyone yields to the pedestrians. The room was comfortable and contained a microwave and fridge. The entire facility is non-smoking! The only down-side was that sound travelled easily between our room and the adjoining room, but our neighbors weren't noisy. I was more worried about our kids disturbing them. Also, there were non-guests using the pool from time to time. All in all, a great place to stay!

It was the people that work at the BeachSide Inn that made this experience the best. It is close to shopping and right across the street from a terrific beach. There is a restaurant and a sandwich shop on the premises. We didn't try the restaurant but I would suggest the sandwich shop for breakfast, very good. I would highly recommend the Beach Side Inn. We stayed for 6 nights and would do so again.
