Location was great. It was our anniversary and they left us wine, blueberry bread and even snacks for our 4 year old mini schnauzer. The lady at the office was super friendly and helpful. We felt very safe here and will be coming back this fall hopeful.

The place was clean and updated! There was a fresh loaf of poppyseed bread waiting for us when we first arrived! Nice little touch! The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were great! This Inn is in a terrific location!! Right across the street from the ocean! With a very nice public beach! There are 2 restaurants on location, but there are so many other options within walking distance. We will be back!

very comfortable and well maintained
We've stayed in this villa for a couple of years. We like the lagoon view with the fountain and only a short walk to the beach. Tennis and pickleball facilities are great. The villa itself is was clean, well equipped and reasonably well maintained. No complaints. We'll visit again.

Stayed at the Beachside Inn for a short stay and could tell there had been updates to the room since my last stay. The room is modern, nicely decorated, bathroom updated, and the bed was very comfortable in my opinion. Stayed in December, so didn’t get to enjoy the beach or pool, but the hot tub was nice and the property is in a great location. Looking forward to our next stay!

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Beachside Inn. The room met all of our expectations. The cafe and restaurant next door were very good and convenient. The walking path and sites for our dog were fun. Unfortunately, we were in and out as we passed through town so we did not have the opportunity to experience everything to offer. Next time!

This place is a hidden gem! It was soo quaint and quiet and nice. The walk to the beach was very short and the lady at the front desk was awesome! We stayed two nights here and then went to our other booking at a bigger resort and we missed the Beachside Inn. This place was nicer than the more expensive resort. The pool was quiet and not too crowded and nice. We will be coming back!

We were quite happy with our stay at the Beachside Inn. The place offered most of what we needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. Pet Friendly was the most important requirement for us. Add in the beach across the street, a great restaurant upstairs and we really couldn't ask for more. The bed provided the best sleep either of us have had in quite a while. When we return to Destin in the future this or one of the other Newman-Dailey managed properties is where we will be staying.

the perfect place!
The very clean and spacious. They were just steps away from a quiet and beautiful beach! The restaurant had good service and great food! We loved the area we stayed in. Kelly at the front desk was very helpful with every question we had! She even made a few phone calls for us about activities we were wanting to do. We will definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Great value, across the street from public beach access, cafe & restaurant, bike rentals on premises. The room was nice & clean, the doorways were wide for a wheelchair and bathroom large with handrail by toilet. The bed was soft & comfortable, but very squeaky. Getting up or changing positions at night were noisy. The fold down tub seat is too small for a tall, 200 lb. man and no tub mat to make it less slippery, but it may work fine for people with minimal disabilities. Water pressure is great, as well as, instant hot water. The access to the room with a concrete ramp is good with parking right outside room. There is an elevator available for the restaurant. It can get noisy with customers leaving the restaurant at night, but there was no problem after 10pm on our off-season stay. We didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting and quite nice. We loved the dog-friendly cafe with outside tables...the harvest muffins are yummy! There are plenty of areas to walk a dog and the grounds even have a poop trash can with bags. The office staff are very nice and helpful! Thanks, Kellie & Peggy! Oh, I, almost, forgot to mention the delicious blueberry bread we had on our table at check in. :-)

this is the best hotel!
This hotel is so different from most of the others. We were traveling with our little yorkie and this is the perfect place. The floor was tile so it was really clean. Our dog doesn't make a mess but if so it could easily be cleaned up and sanitized. The room felt like a nice room not a run down "pet room" that you sometimes get when booking a pet room. Huge room with an inviting at home feel! The service is fantastic! The room combo stopped working so we called and they gave us a new one right over the phone and we went about our business. If your getting there late they leave your room light on and have your packet ready when you get there. Best part...you get this full size homemade style sweet bread that is in your room that is delicious! This Inn really cares about guests and definately pays attention to detail!! Good job!!! Will stay again next year in Dec!!

Just outside Destin in Crystal Beach area sits this jewel of a hotel. Across from the gulf, very clean, comfortable, friendly staff with dog friendly outside gourmet cafe and Camille's restaurant upstairs. Lovely neighborhood for walking/bicycling. The complimentary bread in your room is delicious and we enjoyed it along the road.

Just a note to say what a great time I had at the Beachside Inn.
The staff is tops and makes sure that guest are comfortable.
Hotel has been updated and room amenities really make a huge difference. The banana nut bread in each room is a real treat!!
Blue color paint surrounding pool could be a softer color-just a suggestion.
If one is looking to get away from the maddening crowd this is the place to go.

The beachside Inn was wonderful! I enjoyed staying there so much! It was right across the street from an absolutely gorgeous beach! And the from desk ladies were the best! The location of this hotel was perfect for walking to the beach. It is right across the street from a public beach access. There is an amazing restaurant connected to the hotel on the 2nd floor. Our room was very big and always keep clean. We had a fridge & a microwave and were provided a loaf of fresh baked bread at check in, The doors opened by a push button code, so no keys to misplace. The Beachside Inn is just that, 150 yards from our door, we were on the beach. The coffee shop located on the property makes Really Good coffee, opens @ 7:00. The pool was very nice.
One word of caution, our room was upstairs right next to the restaurant and from 9:00pm to 11:00pm it can get a little loud as "drinking" folks leave the bar. Next time, we will request a room further away.

To start off we made reservations, but we had an issue and did not know if we were going to make it so I canceled. Then we decided to go and we called to see if they still had a room the day before. Upon arrival we were met by Peggy and Kelly, they were great people just as we had heard, sometimes you can tell when employsee's really like their job. It was a great way to start our stay. They were glad to answer our questions about the area. The room was exceptional, love the decor and the tile floor. This is a great place and we will be back next summer for more nights.

They even provided us with a complimentary orange-raspberry loaf, which was superb! We arrived quite early, but the staff was kind enough to check us in earlier than expected. The public beach access to Crystal Beach is right across the street. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint, clean, and safe. You won't be disappointed.

best bed ever and great customer service!
I made a last minute decision to take my wife back here for her birthday this year. This was our second time staying here. My wife and I agree that hands down, these are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! We get the best sleep when we come here! Also, for the things we like to do and the restaurants nearby, this is the best location in Destin! All that would be enough to make it enough for us to always come back but the customer service and friendliness of the staff made it the perfect getaway! We will definitely be back!

vacation rental
We had the best time ever! This place is adorable, we definitely will visit again. The Beach is beautiful and relaxing. The Customer service is outstanding from start to finish. Our dog traveled with us, she was treated just as well as we were. Peggy made all of us feel at home - we didn't want to leave. Peggy, keep up the good work, we hope to see you again soon.

We wanted to visit the Destin, FL area with our Weimaraners... We found the Beachside inn on the Bringfido.Com site. The inn could not have been more welcoming of my doggie family. I found the size of the room to be excellent, particularly if you are staying a week or longer. The king size bed was so comfortable we stripped the bed to find out it's manufacturer. The small refrigerator provided in the room is a plus and appreciated. The bath room is large which is great. I found the inn to be great value for the area- directly across from the beach. The complimentary breakfast that came with our room at Camille's Cafe was just terrific. The best is the fact that they are truly pet friendly. The inn provides a small yard for our pets to relive themselves in the am/PM with bags and garbage can conveniently at our fingertips. My family is looking forward to our next stay at the Beachside inn.

1st time to the panhandle area
the people at beachside inn were wonderful! we loved the location. it was so pleasent to be near the beach but only a short drive to everything.the room was lovely and comfotable. we have told all our friends to check out this inn.

most relaxing!
rented 2 rooms at the Beachside Inn, they gave us connecting rooms, which was great.
It was a hop, skip, & jump across the street to be on the beach!
we were able to walk to several eating spots, including Walgreens to get the stuff for the sunburns.
The rooms were clean, with updated beds. They came by with towels, etc. every morning.
The only downside to these rooms, was the fighting for parking by people coming to eat at the attached restaurant. As a guest who paid for the room, I shouldn't have had to leave my car on the street at night.

comfort and convenience
I enjoyed my stay at the Beachside Inn. I far prefer the quiet, more residential district where the hotel is located than the hub-bub touristy feel of Destin down by the Emerald Grande. Located directly across the street from the Crystal Beach public access point, with its covered sitting area, showers, ramps and stairs over the dunes, getting to the beach was total convenience. If you have any business on the Niceville, Valparaiso, Bluewater Bay side, the Beachside Inn is totally convenient for getting across the mid-bay bridge without having to fight Destin traffic.
The room was clean, cool, and both sparsely furnished - in a good way - and well equipped with the amenities I needed: iron, hair dryer, microwave, etc. I was not looking for decadent comfort & got what I needed from the Beachside Inn. The on season price of $240 per night seemed a touch steep - prior to my visit I was thinking the place might better be priced in the $180 range. After my visit, I understand the rate is based on proximity - for that blend of seclusion, comfort, and easy beach access, you cannot find much better.
Room comes with breakfast coupons to be used at the inn's cafe. I liked the food - simple fare - eggs, breakfast burritos, pastries, coffee, fruit, cold drinks, however the breakfast coupons are structured to only cover a small meal: coffee and a basic pastry; adding orange juice (the bottled-made from concentrate-unappealing type), moving from a scone to a muffin, a breakfast sandwich will cost you more...you get the picture. For $240 a night would have liked fresh squeezed orange juice and a proper meal. The cafe is not that kind of place - it's more the quaint, comfortable, linger on the patio sipping coffee in the beach breeze, run by young college-aged kids type.
I like the facility as a whole: the feel of the hotel, the art deco vibe of the pool area, the food & sushi at the restaurant: Camille's. I had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Beachside Inn Friday July 6th thru Monday July 9th..We were actually suppose to check out Sunday the 8th but decided that we wanted to stay an extra day. We Have stayed at the Sea Oats motel in the past and have always loved it there, but since our last stay we have a family dog now and we had to find a pet friendly place to stay..The Beachside Inn is that place..We found a jewel and we will never stay at another place other than the Beachside Inn whether we have Lola (dog) with us or not..The Beachside Inn has a wonderful staff..Peggy and Jessica at the front desk are great..They remembered our names and even Lola's name our entire stay...to me you just don't get that everywhere you go..The rooms are very nice and all newly remodeled and very clean. The pool and hot tub are great. The Camille's Cafe and staff (Sandy) is friendly and the cafe is actually part of the Beachside Inn..it was about 20 feet from our room...the restaurant..also named Camille's is attached to the Inn and the staff and food there are wonderful also..There is a moped, kayak, and bike rental which is also attached to the Inn with an awesome staff..Ralph rented us a moped ..and we rode it all weekend..everywhere we went...he recommended some nice places to hangout also. The Beachside Inn is across the street from the beach and also surrounded by beautiful neighborhoods with sidewalks for nice morning and evening walks with your pet/s. We are already planning on going back next month or so. I see some reviews that say the rates are pricey for what you get..I would have to disagree with that. The beachside Inn and all of the surroundings provide a great atmosphere with a friendly and caring staff..It's about a mile away from a Public grocery store if you need something while you're staying there. We are by no means important people but we are very picky about places we stay. Do yourself a favor and just spend one night there. I promise you will be back.

weekend getaway
The lobby staff were exceptional! Parking was great & the room was clean and very well appointed. The beach was just footsteps away, yet quiet and not "touristy" could not have been more pleased. Oh, and the sandwiches at the quaint cafe... delightful!

home away from home
My Husband and I stayed at Beachside Inn on our vacation get away! I looked thru hundreds of places it seemed like and none of them were worth the price! The room was gorgeous and affordable and was right across the street from the beach! Our room was very clean and I love the keyless entry. I hate being responsible for a key. It's just something else to keep up with. It was like one minute from shopping!(I'm a sucker for shopping) We loved our stay at Beachside Inn! When I called to make the reservations, Jess was very nice and very helpful! We will definitley be back and recommend this place to everyone!

a wonderful unwinding weekend
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Eunice was absolutely great! The room overall was nice except that it had no comfortable seating, only a table and four Wodded chairs. There is no soundproofing between rooms and conversations were heard way too clearly.

wonderful stay!!!
Our stay was wonderful, but their hours are a little short. We were there as a part of a wedding party and if it hadn't been for the bride letting us know that they close at 5pm we wouldn't have been able to get into our room as our flight didn't get in until midnight. This is a wonderful little bungalow and we truly enjoyed our time there. We will definetely look into availability the next time we travel to Destin!

excellent overall experience
Great value for the location. Conveniently located from a public access point to the beach right across the street. Camille's Restaurant located on the premises very handy; wonderful food served at good prices. Many other restaurant choices only a short walk or drive from resort. Pool is clean and well-kept. Front-Desk Staff was always friendly and responsive. Maid Service was prompt and thorough.

wonderful beachside inn
My girlfriend and I stayed at Beachside Inn for two nights while in town for a wedding. Beachside Inn was very quaint, very clean, very quiet and the staff was very friendly. You could not ask for a nicer group of people. Our pets were welcomed and that is a big plus with my girlfriend and I as well. Our stay could have not been better. We would without a doubt stay at the Beachside Inn again. The swimming pool area was beautiful and the on location restraunt and sandwich shoppe is a nice feature as well.

sweet deal
we were waiting to sighn a contract on a long term lease and needed to sta 1 night some where. we drove to the beach and stop at the nicest place we could find.... you quest it beachside inn. the room was very nice, pricey for our purpose but worth every penny. my wife and I walked the beach til sunset then my sugar dropped very low. as we walk accross the street back to our room. a very nice lady spoke to us from the grill that is attached to the Inn she invited us in and fixed me a dip that was out of this world, ( just what the doctor ordered.) in no time I was feeling much better. we talked for a while about the area. she told us about the resterant up stairs and there pizza. man an other home run! the room the hospitality the service got all 4 thumbs up from us. we are now locals but still go to the resrarant upstairs.

great room, easy acess, fantastic price.
We only had one issue and it was with the manager. We always travel with necessary and expensive computer equipment. As a result we normally request the room not be entered while we're out (though we don't usually leave the equipment behind). There was some problem between the manager and the maids. My wife talked with her and couldn't relate it to me completely. Apparently she has no controls in place to track what rooms who has cleaned or when and was irritated that she had apparently paid for our room cleaning when we specifically requested it not to be. It's no problem for us and won't effect our decision to stay there in the future.
