The Market Shops Hosts Free Winter Concerts

The Market Shops at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will present two Winter Concerts for 2019.  Residents and winter visitors will be treated to live performances on the green at The Market Shops at Sandestin. 

On January 19, The Market Shops presents an afternoon with David Seering. David is recognized as one of the most versatile entertainers in America. His ability takes him from behind the piano as a marvelous solo pianist and vocalist, to commanding a stage as a remarkable entertainer with a 16-piece orchestra as his back up. 

David’s career has taken him from being the lead vocalist for the United States Armed Forces Band to performing with such notable groups as the Tommy Newson and the Johnny Carson Tonight Show Band, USC Symphony Orchestra, Tulsa Pops Orchestra, The Lovell Ives Orchestra, as well as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. David has performed by invitation for two US Presidents, Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan, as well as Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris, and Louisiana Governor Mike Foster. He has performed with entertainers such as BJ Thomas, Helen Ready, TG Shepard, Phyllis Diller, Mickey Rooney, Mickey Gilly, and the Great Cab Calloway, among many others. We are blessed that the Emerald Coast is David’s home and that he’ll be performing at this year’s Winter Concert Series.

On February 16, The Market Shops will welcome Ron Adams. Ron is a former police officer who found his gift channeling Elvis when he was undercover at a club. He has since starred in two movies “Southern Heart” and “Elvis’ Grave”. Ron’s Elvis Tribute is one of the best in country. And whether he’s doing his world famous Elvis Show or one of his many other shows, he always captures the heart and soul of the audience. In addition to the Elvis Show, he has written, produced as well as starred in many shows, including Ron Adams and Friends Country legends show, Ron Adams “Rat Pack” Tribute Show and Ron Adams and Friends “Reflections” (A journey through America’s musical history). 

They winter concerts will be held at The Market Shops main lawn from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the show. Shows are weather permitting.
