Fourth of July Week at the Beach - Destin - South Walton - 30A

Welcome to the beach to celebrate Independence Day and treasured time with family and friends. Spending Fourth of July weekend in Destin, Florida is cherished tradition for many. Our proximity to three military bases (Hurlburt Field, Eglin Air Force Base, and Tyndall Airfore Base) makes our region especially patriotic. So whether you’re in town for a day, a week or a month, we invite you experience at least one of these special Fourth of July Celebrations. 

July 1 – Rock the Docks with The Moon Lagoons
On Saturday, the Moon Lagoons will rock the docks from 7-9 PM on the HarborWalk Village band shell. This free performance overlooking the Destin Harbor is a great kick off to the Fourth of July weekend. The Moon Lagoons is a Roots Rock/Soul band who has been described as an upbeat, soul healing journey to happiness filled with beautiful harmonies. Nothing but good vibes and good times and a night full of dancing when they grace the stage.

July 2 – Rock the Docks with Dana Pointe Band
On Sunday, Dana Pointe Band will play a free live music in the band shell at HarborWalk Village as the sun goes down. The Destin-based rock band will play covers from rock, classic rock, pop and more.

July 3 – Rock with Docks with Kane and the Saints
On Monday, Kane and the Saints will perform at the HarborWalk Band Shell. Based out of southeast Alabama, this four-piece band kicks out soul, funk, rhythm and blues.

July 3 – Smoke on the Coast
Celebrate Independence Day at Destin Commons with a bang on July 3rd, from 5 to 10 p.m. The 7th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival allows attendees to purchase and sample mouth-watering BBQ dishes hot off the grills and cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice title. Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy live entertainment from local favorites Heritage and Trigger Proof, along with festive street performers and kid’s activities. BBQ sampling for $1 per sample is from 6 – 8 pm. and all proceeds benefit 17 local non-profit organizations. The evening’s festivities will conclude at 9:15 with the best Independence Day firework extravaganza on the Emerald Coast.

July 4 – Rock with Docks with January Noise
On Tuesday, January Noise will be the featured band on the HarborWalk Village sound stage. January Noise is an alternative rock/pop cover band fronted by Blair Gilley hailing from Nashville, Tennessee.After the concert, stay for the fireworks display over the Destin Harbor at 9:15 p.m.

July 4 – Red, White & Baytowne
From 6 – 10 PM, Sandestin’s Village of Baytowne Wharf will host a family-friendly 4th of July Celebration. The evening of fun includes kids’ activities, including kids crafts, face painting and balloon sculpting. Enjoy live music from the Baytowne Stage and fireworks overhead at 9 PM. Limited parking is available at the Baytowne Marina. Additional parking is available at the Village (valet), The Grand Sandestin (open) and Monark/Inspiration (open). A tram will be available at the Village and The Grand to take you to the Marina.

July 4 – Sandestin 4th of July BBQ at the Sandestin Marina

Enjoy delicious barbecue favorites along with live entertainment, a bounce house and more. Cost: $38/adults and $18/kids (ages 6-12). For tickets and reservations, click here. Limited parking is available at the Baytowne Marina. Additional parking is available at the Village (valet), The Grand Sandestin (open) and Monark/Inspiration (open). A tram will be available at the Village and The Grand to take you to the Marina.

July 4 – Grayton Beach Parade
Join the locals for the 4th of July Parade at Grayton Beach. Line up starts at 8 a.m. at Red Bar and the parade starts at 8:30 a.m. Pimp your ride and join in the fun! Participants will get popsicles, watermelon and lemonade at the end of the parade.

July 4 – South Walton – 30A Fourth of July Parade
An annual tradition, the 30A - South Walton 4th of July Parade begins in Seagrove Beach at 8 a.m. and culminates in downtown Seaside. Please note that a portion of Scenic Highway 30-A will be closed for a few hours to accommodate the parade. 

July 4 – Seaside Fireworks Spectacular
Head over to the Seaside  Amphitheater on Tuesday evening for the Victory Belles Concert at 7pm followed by the Fireworks Spectacular over the Gulf of Mexico at 8:30 p.m.
