2017 30A Songwriters Festival Kicks Off Next Friday

We enjoy welcoming hundreds of talented songwriters from across the nation to Scenic 30A and the beaches of South Walton. Many are very familiar with our coastal communities and have been attending the festival every year over its seven year history. For others, this will be their first time visiting South Walton and the Emerald Coast and will be awakened as to the beauty and friendly Southern Hospitality that is our trademark.

From Jan. 13-16, music and the beach converge, resulting in a weekend of soulful sounds, incredible stories and heartfelt lyrics within our laid back, coastal setting.  The event will be held at venues throughout 30A and South Walton, providing an intimate setting to hear talented artists perform and discuss the songs they’ve written. 

This year’s star-studded line-up, includes John Prine, Cheap Trick, Dr. John & the Nite Trippers, Parker Millsap, Drivin’ N Cryin, Shawn Mullins, Chris Stills and Jeffrey Steele, among many others. Proceeds benefit the Cultural Arts Alliance’s mission of bringing art and cultural opportunities to students and community of Walton County.
