Free Admission to Topsail Hill State Park

topsail hill by sowal

Great news for our nature loving guests! Beginning in June, regular day-use admission fees to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach will be waived through a reimbursement program administered by Visit South Walton (VSW).

If you haven’t visited Topsail Hill State Park, you’re in for a treat. The park features 3.2 miles of white sand beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall as wells as three rare coastal dune lakes, offering excellent freshwater fishing, yielding bass, bream, and catfish. The lakes, pristine beaches, old-growth long leaf pines, sand pine scrub, and a variety of wetlands offer a great environment for exploring. Visitors may bike, walk, or enjoy a quick ride to the beach via the tram service, which runs every hour on the hour from 9 a.m. until sunset. The program will be in effect until September 7, 2015.
