Celebrity Vintner Marc Perrin Honored at SoWal Wine Fest & DCWA

The fourth weekend of April, April 24-26, the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival and Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) team up to host some of the world's preeminent winemakers. 
 
Ranked among the top five wine auctions in the country by Wine Spectator, Destin Charity Wine Auction announced their International Celebrity Vintner will be fifth generation wine pioneer Marc Perrin of Château de Beaucastel. The legendary Château de Beaucastel dates back to 1909. Perrin is also recognized for his partnership with star couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The couple released Miraval in 2012 with Chateau de Beaucastel’s trademark of only using organic grapes.
 
Perrin will join Famille Perrin Chef Laurent Deconinck for a Patron Dinner on Friday, present a wine seminar at the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival on Saturday at 1 pm and then proceed to his honorary role at the Destin Charity Wine Auction at 3 pm Saturday afternoon.

In addition, dashing French winemaker Jean-Charles Boisset will join the incredible roster of celebrity winemakers at the DCWA and South Walton Beaches Wine Festival with the JCB Experience. Boisset represents 12 wineries throughout several regions of France and seven in Napa Valley and the Sonoma region of California. Boisset’s passion and commitment for quality fine wines has led this innovative winemaker to implement organic and Biodynamic farming at all of the family’s estate vineyards in both Burgundy and California.

Complemented by the area’s sugar white sand beaches, the weekend of wine includes wine tastings, wine dinners, craft beer and spirits night, culinary seminars, champagne lane, live entertainment by Nashville songwriters and the Destin Charity Wine Auction.
