How to Make A Destin Strawberry Mojito Cocktail

Ingredients:
4 farm fresh Florida strawberries quartered
1 to 2 mint sprigs with at least 10 leaves total
half a lime cut in two
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup ice cubes
1 1/2 ounces white rum (we use Bacardi white)
1/2 cup club soda

Directions:
Place mint leaves, lime, sugar and strawberries in a sturdy 12 oz tall clear glass. Use a muddler to crush the ingredients and to release the mint oils and lime juice. Muddling is the most important step. Don't be afraid to really smash it.

Do not strain the mixture! Crush ice and fill the glass almost to the top. Pour rum over the ice, and top with soda water. Stir vigorously and garnish with a mint sprig for delicious rum drinks.
