What You Need to Know about Direct Check-in for Newman-Dailey’s Destin Vacation Rentals

As part of our new COVID-19 processes, Newman-Dailey is pleased to offer direct check-in for all of our South Walton and Destin vacation rentals (exception Silver Beach Towers guests must pick up a packet at Beachside Inn to enter property). We are committed to staff and guest safety so our main offices and lobbies remain closed at this time and guests may go directly to their vacation rental any time after 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. Here’s our new procedures and protocol for direct check-in at our Destin and South Walton vacation rentals:

  • Prior to arrival guests are sent a variety of emails including a contract to sign, what to bring, things to do, and directions to the specific vacation rental. Note: Electronic contracts must be signed prior to arrival or door codes will not be issued.
  • On the day of arrival, guests will receive an email with their door code between noon and 3 p.m. (CST); Door codes will activate at 4 p.m. There will be NO early check-ins permitted at this time to ensure all COVID-19 sanitization and cleaning procedures are met.
  • Upon arrival, guests simply enter six-digit door code and hit the “checkmark” to enter the private vacation rental.
  • Once inside, there will be a Newman-Dailey blue bag in the kitchen with the check-in packet. It is ESSENTIAL to review this packet, which includes important information regarding your stay including property gate codes, WiFi passwords, HOA or Resort rules/guidelines, and more.
  • Guests should immediately place parking passes inside the dashboard of their vehicle(s). Note: Newman-Dailey is not responsible for any towed vehicles—passes MUST be displayed visibly on the car’s dashboard.
  • Arriving late? No worries. The rental address and door code are supplied to you and remain the same for the duration of your stay. If you have any difficulty with your code or any problems, simply call our office at (850) 837-1071, which is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  If you arrive outside of normal business hours, this number becomes our after-hours / emergency hotline and your call will be returned by one of our staff members.
  • Check out has been moved up to 9 a.m. to accommodate extended cleaning time between stays.
  • On the day of check-out, simply follow check-out procedures listed on the arrival packet, which include running the dishwasher and removing trash from the rental. Any key fobs, pool keys, etc. should be returned in the plastic bag they were provided in and left on the kitchen table to be cleaned and disinfected prior to the next guest arrival.
  • Upon departure, simply use door code 123456 (checkmark) to alert housekeeping that your rental is ready for sanitization and cleaning.
