MARCH 22  - MAY 7 

As the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”, Destin is home to Destin Cobia World Championships, a month-long event that draws anglers from around the country. Held at the HarborWalk Marina, the tournament begins March 22 and runs through May 7, 2019. Learn more at cobiaworldchampionships.com.

APRIL 11 - 14

Wine lovers toast several spring wine events that have become annual traditions. The Sandestin Wine Festival (April 11 – 14, 2019) kicks off the month benefiting the Fisher House and Sandestin Foundation (sandestinwinefestival.com). 

APRIL 25-28

The South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival and Destin Charity Wine Auction (April 25- 28, 2019) is known for attracting top winemakers from around the world and 2019 is no exception featuring winemakers with some of hte finest wineries in Oregon, including Erik Kramer, the winemaker from Willakenzie Estates and Eugenia Keegan with Gran Moraine, as well as team from Jackson Family Wines. All proceeds from the wine festival benefit the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which supports 15 non-profit partners serving children in need in Northwest Florida (sowalwine.com)

Cultural travelers will enjoy Musical Echoes Native American Flute Festival (April 26-28, 2019) at the Fort Walton Beach Landing on Santa Rosa Sound. Celebrate Native American Dance Performances, demonstrations, and flute lessons. 

MAY 9 - 19

Art collectors and moms are rewarded at ArtsQuest Week (May 9 – 19). Held during Mother's Day Weekend, the annual ArtsQuest Fine Art & Music Festival returns to Grand Boulevard with live music, art exhibits, and kids’ crafts throughout the weekend. 

During the month of May, live outdoor concerts are held at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin and at Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin.
