Live Music on Hwy 30A & in South Walton Keeps Spring Travelers Groovin’

One thing is for sure, the 30A coastal lifestyle and live music go hand in hand. Whether it’s country, rock, reggae, R&B or jazz, music along the coast creates a tapestry of rhythms and melodies that is undeniably enjoyable. For those visiting South Walton, Destin or 30A this spring, here’s are few places to enjoy live music:

On Wednesdays, the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin will host a free Wednesday Night Concert Series, featuring live musical performances every Wednesday during the month of March.

On Friday and Saturdays, Seascape Resort will host the First Note Music Experience. Each performance features three to four artists from around the country, representing different musical genres.  From country, pop and rock to blues and R&B, the talented artists, singers and songwriters come together to tell stories and perform a musical medley that creates a deep connection with the audience. The stage is constantly shuffling from artist to artist. Tickets start at $25 for General Admission; gates open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m.

On Sundays, Gulf Place on 30A will host an outdoor concert series, running March 9 – April 27. Each week features a different local or regional group, representing a variety of genres of music. Concerts are from 6-9 p.m. and free to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and kick back, relax and enjoy the great bands.

Also on Sundays, the Vue on 30A will host an encore performance of the First Note Music Experience, featuring an array of artists in an intimate setting on the veranda overlooking the beach. Ticket prices start at $33.50; The Vue opens at 5 p.m. for dinner and show starts at 7 p.m.
