What’s New on 30A

Scenic Highway 30A is a special treasure and while the 19-mile beachfront road has evolved in the last 20+ years, the coastal highway still maintains its relaxed vibe. Hwy 30A is upscale, yet casual--a place to unwind and rejuvenate. And once you visit, you'll want to return to your favorite spots and discover new ones as well. In an effort to make sure you don’t miss the latest and greatest, we’ve compiled a quick list of what’s new on 30A.

30Avenue is about to open in Inlet Beach. It is a brand new shopping, dining and entertainment center, which will feature Cuvée 30A, the sister restaurant to Tim Creehan’s popular Cuvée Bistro in Destin. Cuvée 30A will feature signature dishes such as Amy Grant’s Seared Tuna and Vince Gill’s Pecan Crusted Grouper, along with Chef Damiano’s authentic Italian Cuisine. Creehan will also expand his wine list at the new Inlet Beach location.

The Bowery on 30A has opened in Redfish Village in Blue Mountain Beach. Named after the Bowery, a street and neighborhood in NYC, the restaurant is fashioned after a 1920 Speakeasy with dark mahogany wood walls, Vanderbilt chandeliers, and leather seating. Guests will find a diverse menu that ranges from a classic NYC hot pastrami sandwich, grilled swordfish and steamed shrimp plate for lunch to hand-cut premium steaks, pan seared maple leaf duck breast, and plank roasted salmon for dinner. The Bowery on 30A is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Highlands House Tapas Bar & Restaurant is located on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Nestled within this historic beachside Inn, there is plenty of seating inside or guests may enjoy the coastal breeze on the large porch. The diverse menu features a wide array of items from casual salads and burgers to small plates such as goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, hummus and bruschetta to gourmet dinner entrees, ranging from island inspired dishes such as ahi tuna and blackened fish to pan-seared duck breast and sweet tea fried chicken and waffles. After dinner, the boardwalk provides an easy walk to the beach. Highlands House is a popular wedding and special event venue so call ahead to confirm they are open.
