Digital Graffiti Projection Art Festival This Weekend!

Summer is officially here and we're enjoying lots of Florida sunshine and beach time here in South Walton and Destin, Fla. The question our guests frequently ask is: "What is there to do at night in Destin?" This weekend, we suggest experiencing Digital Graffiti.

As the world's first projection art festival, Digital Graffiti brings the iconic white walls of Alys Beach on Hwy 30A to life with digital art. U nderground artists around the globe have been using the latest design, animation and projection technologies to cast dynamic images onto skyscrapers and other urban structures as a means of artistic expression and Digital Graffiti is the first outdoor festival to celebrate and showcase these unique talents. Festival submissions come from digital artists, filmmakers, musicians, and photographers from around the globe to compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes.

This one-of-a-kind event kicks off on Friday night after the sun goes down. Friday night is family night and tickets are $50 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under. Saturday is adults only. From 6-8:30 p.m., me+vie=dg Red Carpet event will be held at Fonville Press and gates open at 8:30 p.m. for fun evening that includes South Beach-style dance party at Caliza Pool.
